Dr. Ashley Mell

Dr. Mell joined the team in June 2024 and has lived in Pittsburgh her entire life, growing up in the West End. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from Penn State University, where she raised a service dog, sparking her interest in animal behavior.

She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, behavior, and soft tissue surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Mell enjoys watching movies, playing board games, and spending time with her family.
