Dr. Alexis D’Amato
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Alexis D’Amato is originally from the North Hills area and is excited to be practicing in Pittsburgh. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Marshall University, with minors in French, chemistry, and fiber arts, before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
During her clinical year, Dr. D’Amato spent time in the Galapagos Islands providing medical and surgical care to underserved communities. After graduation, she worked in a combined general practice and emergency clinic before transitioning to general practice full time.
Her professional interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound.
Outside of work, Dr. D’Amato enjoys traveling, painting, and exploring thrift stores for unique finds.
